Gentle Stories

“A story, a story, tell me a story!” Stories open a window to the magical world of imagination.

Just like they need sunshine and nourishing meals, children should have at least one story every day. Tell stories from your own life, or made-up stories, or age old tales of wisdom, or, read to them. Give your child ‘dream sustenance.’

Some stories have deep, moral substance. These are teaching stories. Some stories just tickle the imagination. Others just evoke a mood.

The Kit’n’Tale stories are all gentle, daydream kind of stories. Most take place in and around Leon and Lucy’s garden. Many involve Leon and Lucy, a brother and sister, who still see the world as a tender and magical place.
